Another night, I’m being hushed and calmed by my God. Honestly, there are many nights like this one where things don’t turn out as we plan or things feel off or disappointments occur..it’s inevitable. But each time I am reminded of my value and how secure I am within God’s promises to me and through his love for me. In the scripture above, God informs the terrified and insecure Jeremiah that He knew Jeremiah even before God placed him in his mothers womb. He already set him apart, pre-destined him for great things. As I lay in my dark room, I’m feeling the same reassurance. Although I can, at times, feel absolutely inadequate and useless, He reminds me of my worth and the fact that he has already Set me apart to do bigger things than I could even try to do on my own. ::sigh::
