This song is not only beautiful, but it is my present heart cry and deepest prayer. I’m am so fed up with the mediocrity of my walk and many other peoples walk with Christ. We have someone so great just waiting for us to invite Him to come and completely take over us—I’ve stopped asking, I’ve stopped being thirsty for it—which causes a dry state. I hate that the human nature is sometimes so inconsistent and lazy and we are a creature of adaptation. We adapt to the pain, to the sin, to the circumstance—but why? It’s so foolish to do when we have a Savior whose desire is to see us free from pain, sickness, etc. We have to invite Him though.

Lord, I no longer care what eyes may be reading or what those eyes may think of this girl, I just know I long for so much more of You. I will wait here, patiently, for You to come to me. I’m asking again..come. Show me that glory of yours again. My “single wish and sole desire” is to “gaze upon your beauty God”. I “will not rest nor will I cease..Till with my eyes ,Your face I see.” I remove myself humbly, so You may be seen. I’m only dust without You..
