Technology has a way of allowing people the say what they need to say to someone when they don’t feel like personally saying what they need to to that person. {Are you with me? Feel free to reread that to yourself slowly a few times.} That’s just a side note.
I’m simply here to celebrate my current light bulb moments from this past week:
I’ve always loved the analogy that talks about when a part of your body get hurts your hands automatically rush to that area to support and hold it. I sit to think why God designed it to be that way.. Maybe to best describe what family and friends were designed to do. When someone dear to you is dealing with life-altering, horrible occurrences it is our job to act as those hands— to support and provide comfort for them while leaving the healing process to God alone..
I talk about my family from time to time but I think it has been just recently where I have truly discovered their importance to me. I haven’t done my duty as a sister/daughter/etc.. until now. Yes it has caused suffering of other things and other social acquaintances but I guarantee you that my priorities are straight. My faith and my family and my love will come first, always. So for those who have felt that I’ve been M.I.A this past week or so..it’s because I’m doing what I’ve been needing to do.
