In reading the well-know story of the 5 loaves and 2 fish {to feed the 5,000} I realized the lack of faith the disciples had at that point. They were way too busy focusing on what they didn’t have {food or money.} When we think about the disciples in this story we are quick to comment on their ignorance..I mean, Heellloo! Jesus is there with you—physically!— This is the guy who can work miracles with a single word or touch..why did they lack faith??

Do you realize we do the same thing today in our own circumstances? I felt kind of silly in recognizing that but it’s true. Do you think God would ask us to do something that we and Him together couldn’t handle? Don’t let your lack of resources blind you to seeing God’s power. Whether you have no idea how your next bill is getting paid, or when your next pay check is even coming your way.. or how you’ll have enough time to finish something of great importance, when life is at it’s busiest. Just remember, you have the all-powerful miracle worker with you.. don’t even worry.
