This is Addison—Better know as Addi. He’s my one and only nephew so clearly he is my favorite. I’ve been so blessed to have the opportunity to spend a lot more time with him and I’ve got to say that I’ve learned so much with him these past few weeks.

Yesterday we played, watched movies, cleaned a nose-bleed {he gets them quite often} made dinner together, went for ice cream, etc. My favorite part of it all was bed time. My brother {his father} has instilled the greatest habit within him. After teeth are brushed, we hop into bed to read a book..then we prayed and sang a worship song to Jesus, together. What an amazing sound to hear a child sing and pray. I certainly cannot wait to have children of my own to grown and teach them to live the way our God desires us to. I’m not a parent yet, but Addi is so preparing me for it.. an amazingly tough yet rewarding job it’s gotta be, to parent.
